Wildflowers
You can find wildflowers on footpaths, hedgerows, fields, parks and gardens. Can you find or imagine any of these? What colour are they? Draw your own wildflower picture.
Look up, look down
Choose a spot inside your house, outside in the garden or while on a walk. Look up and draw what you see above you. Look down and draw what you see below you.
Sky
Look up or out the window. What can you see? Draw your own sky picture.
Collecting
Do you or anyone in your home collect things? These could be anything, from books, seashells or nail polish to keyrings, Lego or fossils. Draw some of these.
Bug life
How many insects can you find? Do they stay still for you, or do you need to draw them quickly?
Inspiration: Maria Sibylla Merian was a naturalist who studied insects and their life cycles.
Take a line for a walk
Choose a route in your home or outdoor space and draw the journey you take using a simple line. How can you represent steps, jumps and a change of pace with lines and marks?

Collect some kitchen items and draw around them. Try different colours. Look for fruit, cutlery and cooking utensils.
