Two chairs from Joseph Walsh's 'Enignum Series', each made from a single slab of olive ash wood and with suede upholstered seats. The title 'Enignum' is a combination from the Latin words Enigma ('mystery') and Lignum ('wood').
Joseph Walsh is a self-taught designer and furniture maker, with a distinctive free-flowing and expressive style of design. He creates pieces with organic natural shapes, often designed to go beyond the functional requirements of the furniture item.
