Chatsworth House Trust was established in 1981 to look after the house, collections, garden, woodlands, and park for the benefit of everyone. Every penny of visitor admission income is reinvested into the charity.

Located within the Peak District National Park, Chatsworth comprises a Grade I listed house and stables, a 105-acre garden, a 1,822-acre park and a farmyard and adventure playground. As the home of the Devonshire family, Chatsworth also houses one of Europe’s most significant private art collections.

Chatsworth plays an important role in the local community as a thriving cultural and educational destination, a nationally important historic landscape, and a working estate that operates with a mindful approach to the environment and sustainability.

How you can support Chatsworth

There are many ways you can support us – as an individual or an organisation – and you can explore these below.

Make a donation

We rely on income from visitors and supporters to undertake an ever expanding programme of essential conservation and maintenance at Chatsworth. Each year, the work required is always far in excess of what the charity can support.

If you are able to, please donate today and help us to protect Chatsworth for future generations.

Thank you.

Annual review
