We aim to enable every child in local schools to experience the Chatsworth Estate as part of their primary education.

We will reach every local school through physical visits or our virtual presence in schools. We have created a suite of curriculum-linked learning resources, and can also offer tailored content, delivered through live-streaming or pre-recorded sessions. We are proud to offer a diverse range of opportunities for learning at Chatsworth.

Outreach

Covid-19 and the need for social distancing disrupted learning and left many people feeling isolated, particularly older members of society. As such, alongside our online offer, we have been reaching out in non-digital ways.

In 2020, during the first national lockdown, older or isolated residents of our local communities were provided with a pack of wellbeing activities focused on art and nature. We also created Chatsworth Christmas wellbeing kits for local schools and care homes. With content tailored to the audience, the resources brought a little bit of Chatsworth into the classroom and care home.
